Author Spotlight – Kate Hawthorne

It’s a new round of author interviews with new guests and new questions!

Please help me welcome Kate Hawthorne to the LGBTQIA Author Spotlight. Kate comes to us from Louisville, Kentucky.

What can readers expect from your books?

An emotional, high heat rollercoaster ride with lots of kink and heart. And always a well deserved happy ending or five.

Do you have a tagline? Please share it.

Angsty. Kinky. Queer.

What do you think of garden gnomes?

Top tier. They always make me think of Amelie.

A chicken walks through the door right now wearing a top hat. What does he say, and why is he here?

He says, “Good evening, ma’am.” And then he stares out the window with my cat.

Which animal is most likely to take over the world?

It’s obviously cats. They are so unbothered and calculating.

If a genie offered you three writing wishes, what would they be? Btw if you wish for more wishes the genie turns all your current WIPs into Lorem Ipsum, I don’t make the rules.

I would wish that no one ever had to worry about money ever again, that all my favorite shows get renewed for a new season, and that we never reach the end of our TBR pile.

What font do you write in? Do you actually care or is that just the default setting?

Default lol, I write in an app so I don’t have all the choices.

If you had to write an entire story without either action or dialogue, which would you choose and how would it go?

Don’t act like I haven’t been wanting to write an epistolary for years lol but I would write one with no action. I love a good conversation, so just a whole book of it? Amazing.

Which of your books do you wish every reader would pick up and read?

Humbled, of course because I’m in love with the Trophy Doms Social Club and the world it’s spawned, but also Rebound because I just think it’s a fun romance. And by fun I mean emotionally devastating, but also sexy.

Where can readers find your books?
