Describe your books/your writing for the readers.
I write spicy/cute/fun but still action-packed urban fantasy mm romance and cute/funny/spicy hockey mm romance
What is something that makes you unique (personally or within your writing)?
I love to blend urban and outdoorsy settings because I personally love climbing mountains and have a fascination with cities. So my books will almost always mash the two together—usually with a lot of exercise/running/weightlifting, because I also love those.
Tell us about your writing process. Where do your ideas come from? Do you plan/plot or totally wing it?
Complete and total pantser. Like, just so far from being a plotter I can’t even fathom the idea of starting with anything other than that One Random Middle Scene that comes, you know, somewhere …
What was an early experience where you learned that language had power?
I can’t honestly answer this because I’ve always been obsessed with books/reading/writing. I used to open books and make up stories before I could even read.
What is your favorite childhood book?
Anne of Green Gables
What is one of the best feelings in the world?
Adorable book scenes–whether you’re reading or writing it.
If animals could talk, which would be the rudest?
Cats. Tell me I’m wrong.
What’s a sound you absolutely love?
The ding of the microwave letting you know your food’s done. JK (well, not really, but like if I have to be serious, then I love Native American meditation flute music)
Favorite snack while writing?
Weirdly, I don’t often eat whilst writing.
Favorite drink when writing?
Water or tea spiked with Bailey’s
Favorite scent?
My dog even though she kinda smells, but it’s like her warm/soft/comforting smell, you know?
