A large number of my ebooks are available on platforms outside of Amazon, and that includes LIBRARIES! While I ALWAYS hope you’ll read on KU and/or purchase my books, I also know how important libraries are in keeping books in readers’ hands. I *do* get a payment when libraries purchase my books to provide them to their patrons.
There are a couple ways you can request for your library to carry my ebooks.
1) Ask at your library what the best way is for you to request titles be added to their ebook platform(s).
2) If your library uses Overdrive/Libby or Hoopla, see below for information on how to let your library know you want certain titles to be added.
Libby (Overdrive) –
– If your library uses Libby:
1) Get Libby app.
2) Sign up/find your library.
3) Search for authors/titles.
4) If not available, tag it as Notify Me. This will let the library know you want this book. If they order it, you’ll be notified.
5) Do this for each title you wish for them to acquire.
Hoopla
If your library uses Hoopla, see the following screenshots for directions (your library may use Libby *AND* Hoopla and you can request on both).
